Introduction

The Embassy of Nepal in Islamabad was established in 1962, two years after the establishment of diplomatic relations between Nepal and Pakistan in 1960.

In addition to Pakistan, the Embassy is concurrently accredited to 5 countries: the Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, Türkiye, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.

The Embassy is composed of four diplomatic staff members. The Ambassador serves as the Head of Mission, supported by a Minister-Counsellor (or Counsellor) as the Deputy Head of Mission. The diplomatic team also includes a Defense Attaché and a Third Secretary.
